Lincoln Brigham is the owner of Gryphon Strength & Conditioning, specializing in coaching for Olympic weightlifting and CrossFit.
Lincoln has held numerous certifications, including USA Weightlifting Club Coach, USAW referee, USAW Advanced Coaching, CrossFit certifications in Olympic Weightlifting, Gymnastics, Nutrition, Rowing, and the CSCS certification from the National Strength Coach Association. He has been a CrossFit Level 2 trainer since 2005. Linc has been coaching the Olympic-style lifts for 12 years. He has taught other trainers and their clientsat workshops and certification seminars all over the west coast and Canada. He has been a coach at both the CrossFit Level 1 certification and is on the staff of the CrossFit Weightlifting Trainers certification.
Lincoln was a masters gold medalist at the 2002 California Weightlifting Championships and took medals at the 2002, 2003, 2004, 2008, and 2014 (gold) National Masters Weightlifting championships. He finished 4th at the 2014 World Masters Weightlifting championships in Copenhagen. He is a two-time medalist at the Sedona Marathon 5K race, as well as an individual gold medalist and two-time team bronze medalist at the 2010 NW Ergomania indoor rowing competition. In his spare time he teaches couples dance - waltz, two-step, swing, cha-cha, and nightclub two-step. He has also taken first place at numerous dance championships including the 2003 UCWDC World Championships.
