Lincoln Brigham is the owner of Gryphon Strength & Conditioning, specializing in coaching Olympic weightlifting. Lincoln has been coaching the Olympic-style lifts for 17 years and has taught other trainers at workshops and certification seminars throughout the west coast and Canada. Lincoln was a masters gold medalist at the 2002 California Weightlifting Championships and took medals at the National Masters Weightlifting championships in 2002, 2003, 2004, 2008, 2014 (gold), and 2015 as well as competing in the World Masters Weightlifting Championships in 2014 and 2016. Athletes he has worked with have competed at the USAW Senior national level and IWF Masters World level in weightlifting as well as the CrossFit Games.
Lincoln certifications past and present include the USA Weightlifting Club Coach (2001), USAW Advanced Coaching (2015), LWC referee, SafeSport, Program Design, and USADA Athlete Advantage. CrossFit certifications include CrossFit Level 2 (2005), Olympic Weightlifting Level 2, Gymnastics, Judge, Nutrition, Scaling, and Rowing. He received the CSCS certification from the National Strength Coach Association in 2002. He is a two-time medalist at the Sedona Marathon 5K race, as well as an individual gold medalist and two-time team bronze medalist at the 2010 NW Ergomania indoor rowing competition. He earned first place at numerous dance championships across the country including the 2003 UCWDC World Championships.
